Wear one denim piece for a month and you’ll probably still wear it again the next month.
Good quality denim will still look good. If it gets tattered, even better! I find that it looks better and feels more comfortable when broken in (same goes for a pair of converse). It’s always in style and constantly being reinvented. There are denim jumpers, denim trench coats, bleached denim, waxed denim, distressed denim (my favorite) and even denim mixed with leather… a whole selection. Everyone probably owns at least one denim item in their closet. Classic blue jeans maybe? Or denim shorts? Outfit segue~
I’ve read an article on Candymag.com about the versatility of denim and how you can wear it many ways regardless of your personal style. It inspired me to sport some of my favorite denim pieces thus this quick OOTD blog post which will be followed by maybe two or more outfit inspo posts involving denim.
High waisted denim shorts are my favorite kind of shorts. I’m always on the lookout for a new favorite pair. These are the same shorts here. It goes with almost every style of top I think.
Denim on denim is not an unusual pairing. Try it with different washes. This is a fun laid-back look to wear to school if you want to look like you’ve put a lot of thought and effort into your outfit even if it’s really just a shirt and shorts combo. You can try wearing an over-sized denim jacket over this and I think it’ll look cuter. Mainit lang!
